Ich wäre dankbar für eine Korrektur.. man will ja nicht wie der letzte Depp in der Schule dastehen.. zumal mir Englisch wirklich schwer fällt..
A Knight´s Tale
„If a man believes enough, a man can do anything“. „A man can change his stars“. These are two important sentences which a poor thatcher tells to his son William.
For William, the son of this poor thatcher, it seems impossible that he could ever realize his dream to be a knight. He gets the chance to change for a better life. A nobleman gets hurt in a tournament. William sees his chance and slips into the part of this knight. William, Sir Ulrich von Lichtenstein, wins the tournament.
He gets help from his friends Roland and Wat. The trio follows a SPIELSÜCHTIGER poet, Geoff. He brings William in difficulties again and again. Already he meets a knight who is equal to William. But Adhemar does not like him. He is not only his rival in the tournatment. He is also William 's rival in love. Both want to win the heart of Jocelyn. But William must come to a decision between his heart and the victory of the tournament.
I like this movie, becoause it is very funny. When you feel carried back to the Middle Ages, a new Rocksong is to be heard. For example the dance in the castle (Golden Years by David Bowie).
