conditional sentences

    Bitte schau mal - ich glaub, dass ich alles falsch hab - ich hab keine Ahnung wie das funktioniert :(


    Fill in the correct tenses in the following conditional sentences.


    a) Jane would not have been late for the opera, if she had left (to leave) in time.


    b) I could have got a cheaper ticket, if I had known (to know) before.


    c) He'd fly to America in winter, if hewas (were) (to be) a bird.


    d) If she knew the boy, she would know something about his family or she [COLOR=red,[COLOR=green]would be[/COLOR] able [/COLOR] (to be able) to look him up in the telephone book.


    e) If only you would tell me (to tell me) the whole story. Der Satz ist korrekt, da hier ein WUNSCVH ausgedrückt wird


    f) If Columbus hadn't discovered America, someone else would (to have).


    g) If Hitler hadn't come to power, world war II would not have broken :D out (to break out).

    Bin zwar nicht Richard, aber ich probiers trotzdem mal.


    Meine Lehrerin hatte immer drei Standardsätze bei dem Thema:


    (1) If it rains, I will take my umbrella.
    hier haben wir "present" + "will-future"
    (2) If it rained, I would take my umbrella.
    hier haben wir "past" + "would"
    (3) If it had rained, I would have taken my umbrella.
    und hier "past perfekt" + "would have" und "past part."


    Die Konditionalsätze sind alle nach diesem Schema aufgebaut. Jetzt also deine Sätze:



    a) if she had left (3)


    b) I could have gotten a cheaper ticket, if I had known before. (3)


    c) richtig (2)


    d) or she would be able to look (2)


    e) meiner Meinung nach hast du da nen schweren Fehler gemacht, weil mir beigebracht wurde: NO WOULD/COULD IN AN IF-CLAUSE, also ich würd sagen einfach nur "if only you told me"


    f) someone else would have done it (3)


    g) WWII would have not broken out (3)



    Sooo, da ham wir's doch schon. Müsste soweit eigentlich stimmen:-)

    Ahhh, jetzt ist klar.
    Wusste das echt nicht mehr mit den Fragen, aber man sollte vielleicht doch mal aufpassen.....


    Aber wir haben nen recht coolen Lehrer, bei dem wir immer einen Satz rausstreichen dürfen, den wir nicht bewertet haben wollen... is ja zum Glück nur Grundkurs ohne Prüflinge...
