    Kannst Du mal gucken, ob meine Hausaufgaben so ok sind?? Es muß jeweils yet oder still eingesetzt werden :rolleyes:


    a) The man, who is STILL on his way, has not turned up YET.


    b) He has treated you badly; STILL he is your brother.


    c) For centuries it was one of the most important cities, YET it was never spoilt by industry.


    d) I need you STILL, don't go YET.


    e) She is selfish and tyrannical; YET I can't help loving her.


    f) I don't know whether he is STILL searching for her photo.

    ähhhhm, also.....den Unterschied zwischen YET und STILL hatte ich überhaupt nicht begriffen - und alles nur so nach Gefühl beantwortet :rolleyes:

    Your solutions are correct.
    The problem of still vs. yertis a tricks one. They< are largely interchangeable in the meaning of TROTZDEM.
    But Yet sholug be used to express the German "noch nicht":


    "I have not seen him yet"
